The
affordable Stylus C40UX from Epson is the easy way to produce
photo-quality images. It is possible thanks to Epson's award-winning
4-color drop-on-demand Micro Piezo™ inkjet technology, which
pressure fires thousands of tiny droplets on to the paper to produce
detailed text and photo-realistic tones. And it prevents ink
splatter, which can smudge text that can be typical of thermal
inkjet printers. Epson is currently the only manufacturer that uses
Micro Piezo technology.
The Stylus C40UX prints with an impressive 1440x720 dots-per-inch
(dpi) resolution, which is high enough to produce high quality
documents, flyers, reports, photos, and more. Prints are pumped out
at speeds of 3.5 pages-per-minute (ppm) for color and 12 ppm in
monochrome. The input tray holds up to 100 sheets of a variety of
paper stock, including plain letter, legal, cards, envelopes,
transparencies, and more.
Compatible with Windows 98, 2000, Me, and XP operating systems, the
Stylus C40UX is versatile. It connects to your PC by using a USB
interface. USB installs easily and in just minutes. Simply connect
the printer and computer with a USB cable and the USB compatible
operating system does the rest for you.
